About Money Match

Money is one of the most practical parts of maths. Counting a handful of coins builds addition and skip counting skills, and working out change is a real-life reason to practise subtraction and counting up. The game uses the coins and notes of the country you are viewing, so what kids see on screen matches the money in their pocket.

Children in K2 to Primary 1 can start by counting a few coins. Kids in Primary 2–3 can add notes and coins together, and the make change level suits Primary 4–5. Every coin and note is a simple drawing labelled with its value, so kids focus on the amount rather than the picture.
