Are these educational games really free?
Yes. Every game on this site is 100% free to play. There are no sign-ups, downloads or in-game purchases.
What ages are the games for?
Our games are designed for children aged about 4 to 12, from Nursery 1 & 2 through to Primary 6. Most games have several levels so kids can start easy and level up.
Which class should I choose?
Choose your child’s class, from Nursery to Primary 6. Children usually start Primary 1 at about age 6. Nursery 3 games suit the year before Primary 1 (called kindergarten or the pre-primary class in some schools). Every game has several levels, so your child can move up or down.
Do the games follow the Nigerian curriculum?
The games practise skills that pupils learn in Mathematics and English Studies in the Basic Education Curriculum, such as number facts, place value, fractions, money, time, phonics and spelling. We have not matched them to individual topics in the NERDC curriculum, so use the levels in each game to find the right challenge.
Do the games use naira?
Yes. Money Match and the money worksheets use naira: ₦1 and ₦2 coins and ₦5 to ₦1,000 notes. Amounts are in whole naira.
What subjects do the games cover?
Maths (number facts, times tables, fractions, decimals, money, measurement, shapes, angles, graphs and time), English (phonics, spelling, sight words, punctuation, grammar, vocabulary, reading comprehension and typing), logic and reasoning (thinking skills, verbal and non-verbal reasoning, coding puzzles and sudoku), and science and geography.
Do you have printable worksheets and test prep?
Yes. There are free printable worksheets with answer keys (times tables, addition and subtraction, number bonds, fractions and clocks), plus original practice for the tests children sit in Nigeria, with a timed test mode for exam-style practice.
Do the games work on tablets and phones?
Yes. All games run in the web browser and work on computers, Chromebooks, iPads, Android tablets and phones.
Do kids need an account?
No. Every game can be played straight away without an account. Parents can optionally create a free account so their children get a fun nickname and can join the leaderboard.
