About Fraction Pizza

Fractions are one of the biggest stumbling blocks in primary maths. Seeing fractions as pictures before working with numbers builds the understanding kids need for later topics like decimals, percentages and ratio.

The top number (numerator) counts the shaded parts. The bottom number (denominator) counts how many equal parts there are in total.
