About Verbal Reasoning Quest
Verbal reasoning is about thinking with words: seeing how words are linked, spotting patterns in letters and understanding exactly what a word means. It is a key part of many 11+ and scholarship tests, and the same skills help with reading, spelling and writing at school.
All the word lists in this game were written for it, and letter codes and hidden words are checked by the computer, so each question has exactly one correct answer. Easy questions suit 3rd Grade, Medium suits 4th Grade, and Hard, with words like tranquil, reluctant and abundant, stretches Grades 5–6.
