Tricks that make it easier
- Sing the days and months in order every morning.
- Use the knuckle trick: knuckles are months with 31 days, the gaps between them have 30 (or 28/29 for February).
- Remember the rhyme: "30 days has September, April, June and Novemberโฆ"
- Point to today on a real calendar and ask: what day is tomorrow? What was yesterday?
Common mistakes
- Mixing up the order of June and July.
- Thinking every month has 30 days.
- Forgetting February has 29 days in a leap year.
