Privacy
We built Success Tutoring Games to be safe for children. All games can be played without an account.
- Accounts are for parents. Only a parent or guardian (18+) can create an account. We store their email address, a password (securely hashed by our authentication provider), the date they confirmed they are a parent or guardian, and whether they chose to receive emails from Success Tutoring.
- Children only have nicknames. Each child appears as a nickname made from pre-set fun words (for example โBrave Panda 42โ) with an emoji avatar. We never ask for a childโs name, age, school, photo or any other personal information, and there is no chat or messaging.
- Scores and leaderboards. When a signed-in player finishes a game we save the game, level, points and date. Leaderboards show only nicknames, avatars and points.
- Classroom mode. Teachers can create classes and generate student nicknames. For each student we store only that nickname, an emoji avatar, the class and their game scores, never a name or email. Anyone with the class code can see the class nicknames and class leaderboard. Teachers can remove students or delete a class at any time.
- Marketing is opt-in. We only send emails about learning tips and Success Tutoring services if the parent ticks the box, and they can turn it off at any time on the account page.
- Delete any time. Parents can delete a player, or their whole account with all players and scores, from the account page. Deletion is immediate and permanent.
- Where data is stored. Account and score data is stored with our database provider, Supabase, in Sydney, Australia.
- Device storage. Game settings, your chosen country and personal bests are saved in your browserโs local storage, along with your sign-in session. Clearing your browser data removes them.
- No advertising. We do not show ads or allow advertising trackers.
- No tracking. We do not use analytics or tracking cookies on this site.
