About Money Match
Money is one of the most practical parts of maths. Counting a handful of coins builds addition and skip counting skills, and working out change is a real-life reason to practise subtraction and counting up. The game uses the coins and notes of the country you are viewing, so what kids see on screen matches the money in their pocket.
Children in KG2 to Basic 1 can start by counting a few coins. Kids in Basic 2–3 can add notes and coins together, and the make change level suits Basic 4–5. Every coin and note is a simple drawing labelled with its value, so kids focus on the amount rather than the picture.

Frequently asked questions
Which money does the game use?
It uses the coins and notes of your country: whichever country version of the site you are on decides the currency, coins and notes shown.
What age is this money game for?
It suits children aged about 5 to 11. Counting coins is great for beginners, while making change challenges older kids.
How can I help my child count money?
