Free 11+ Practice Games: Verbal & Non-Verbal
The 11+ (eleven plus) is the entrance test for grammar schools in parts of England and Northern Ireland. The mix of papers depends on the area, but most include some of verbal reasoning, non-verbal reasoning, maths and English. Our free games give children regular, low-pressure practice in all four.

Tips for parents
- Start gently in Year 4 or 5 with short, regular sessions.
- Make sure times tables are automatic. They underpin most 11+ maths.
- Read every day to grow vocabulary, the biggest factor in verbal reasoning.
- Check which papers your area uses and focus there first.
